Study a school year in Spain

Full year, half-year, or trimester—you decide.

At Spain & Families, we offer three options so each family can select the one that best fits their needs:

• Full academic year: total immersion for an entire school year in Spain. Most recommended for language learning.
• Half-year: ideal for those who want a long experience but with more flexibility. Also provides ample time for Spanish learning.
• Trimester: a shorter option for those who want an international experience without being away too long. Also very effective for learning.

Additionally, we fully understand what the “Transition Year” in Ireland entails, and we know that this period is key in the student’s development. Therefore, we highlight that:

• Many families take advantage of this year for their child to make a leap in the Spanish language.
• Spain is the perfect setting for that change: full immersion, Spanish school, cultural and personal experience that makes a difference.

But any time is good to learn Spanish—especially during school years when the capacity for learning is greater.

In all modalities, integration is complete: student in a Spanish school, living with a host family, assigned tutor, enrichment activities, and continuous support. And most importantly: your child will continue to advance academically without losing a year, thanks to the compatibility of the Spanish report card with the Irish system.
